We've been gone for a while, but we've been productive!  We have a new gallery on butterflies and moths, and we also updated many of our other galleries.  If you haven’t perused the site in a while, now would be a good time.  We would particularly recommend the wild places, pronghorn, deer, bear, bison, and elk pages, and I guess if you don't want to see the new chipmunk pictures then you just don't like adorable cuddly things.
We were able to photograph 11 new bird species since our last post including Clark’s grebe, horned lark, prairie falcon, savannah sparrow, Swainson’s hawk, Wilson’s snipe, white-crowned sparrow, warbling vireo, varied thrush, Swainson’s thrush, and white-rumped sandpiper (see below).  This brings our total to 159 bird species photographed which is 45.7% of all bird species in Montana.
